BB8, with its endearing personality, has undoubtedly won the hearts of both young and old. Like many others, I couldn't resist the charm of this lovable droid. However, what truly fascinates me about BB8 is the captivating engineering problem it presents. At its core, BB8 is essentially a spherical robot with six controllable axes, making it a truly remarkable creation.

Driven by my interest in robotics and innovation, I have embarked on my second BB8 build. This time, my goal is to push the boundaries of its capabilities by achieving full autonomy through the integration of advanced machine vision and artificial intelligence. By leveraging these cutting-edge technologies, I aim to create the world's first autonomous BB8, or at least the first of its kind that I am aware of.
